The Forest River designed R-Pod 178 a compact caravan that offers a lot of space for its design.This in part is created by the addition of a Kitchen slide out.Its rugged design gives the appeal of a go anywhere camper. A 2016 Mdel Year it was bought new in & first used 06/2018 the registration with CHRIS showing in 2019. It has only had 1 owner from new who has maintained it himself.
We enter the caravan on the drivers side immediately to the right is the U shaped dinette that can easily seat 6 people around.This area drops down with the use of the table to make the second Queen sized double bed.There is a TV point with a large flat screen tv to the left of the habitation door.
Moving rear is the kitchen area which can be automatically moved on its slide out giving extra space in the middle of the caravan.The kitchen consists of a large Dometic 3 way absorber fridge this can be powered by 240v,12v or gas depending whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping.There is a large work surface incorporating a 2 gas burner hob.There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space for all your holiday provisions and a microwave over for use while hooked up.
Opposite is the all in one bathroom with a fresh water flush toilette that benefits from a black tank.a wash hand basin with mixer tap and shower on a riser.
Finally to the rear is the main bed which is transverse across the rear of the caravan and Queen sized again.
